We work out what the site has to do and whether it really needs a custom build — sometimes the honest answer is Webflow, and I'll tell you.

Picking the stack
The framework, the CMS and the hosting, chosen for your project. Usually that's Astro with Sanity, because it's fast and your team can still edit the content.

Building the library
The design becomes a set of typed, documented components, so the next page — or the next developer — has everything it needs to start.

Integration
Content and functionality
The CMS is connected, the content is moved over, and the custom features are built and tested against real data rather than placeholders.

Deploying and handing off
Tested for speed and accessibility, deployed with previews for every change, and handed over with the code and a walkthrough of how it all fits.

Should my website be built in Webflow or Astro?
Webflow suits a team that wants to edit pages visually and doesn't want to manage hosting. Astro suits a site that needs custom functionality, speed at scale, or content living in a headless CMS. I'm happy to help you weigh it up for your project.

Most sites take somewhere between a few weeks and a few months, from the first call to launch. The biggest variable is usually how quickly content and feedback come back, so we'll agree on a schedule for both at the start.

Because of the wide variety of projects I take on I don't have distinct package based pricing. After we meet to talk through your project I'll send you a custom project proposal that will include details on scope, pricing and timeline. That being said, I generally have a minimum fee of $5k with most projects ending up between $8k-$14k.

Yes. Every site is handed over with a CMS set up for the content you'll change most, and a walkthrough of how to use it.

One of the great things about Webflow is that it doesn't need a lot of upkeep work to keep your site up and running (eg plugins crashing, security vulnerabilities etc.) That being said, your website should grow with your business and depending on your needs you might want help to build out new components or pages.
For sites I've built I offer two website update options:
1. As you go: If you need help on a given month I can make updates at an hourly rate and will bill you at the end of the month if you needed any hours.
2. Retainer: If you want more consistent availability and help with making updates we can setup a custom retainer to make sure your site is getting consistently prioritized.
