I go through the Figma file page by page and plan the build — which pieces are components, what lives in the CMS, and what needs to move.

Variables and global styles
Colors, type and spacing are set up as Webflow variables on the Lumos framework, so a change in one place carries across the whole site.

Building the pieces
Every section is built once as a component with properties your team can edit, so new pages are assembled rather than rebuilt.

Pages & CMS
Putting it together
The pages come together from those components, the CMS collections are set up and filled, and the interactions are added to bring it to life.

Checked across browsers and devices, tuned for speed, SEO and accessibility, then launched — with a walkthrough so you're comfortable editing it.

What Webflow framework do you use?
I've tried out most of the Webflow frameworks out there but I use Lumos for 95% of my builds. It adds a lot of really helpful developer functionality while still making it easy for clients to be able to make changes to their site. With Webflow development there's a large extent where you get what you pay for. While there are definitely cheaper developers out there most of them are not using Component-First systems (which provide a lot of value to you as a client, allowing you to much more easily make changes to your site and even build out whole new pages while staying on brand).
I've had a lot of clients come to me with existing Webflow sites and I've had to recommend that we completely rebuild them because the backend was a complete mess (even though you might not be able to tell from just looking at the live site).
The sites I build will be incredibly well organized, easy for you to grow with, and will use all of the current best practices and latest Webflow features available.

Yes. Every site is handed over with a CMS set up for the content you'll change most, and a walkthrough of how to use it.

One of the great things about Webflow is that it doesn't need a lot of upkeep work to keep your site up and running (eg plugins crashing, security vulnerabilities etc.) That being said, your website should grow with your business and depending on your needs you might want help to build out new components or pages.
For sites I've built I offer two website update options:
1. As you go: If you need help on a given month I can make updates at an hourly rate and will bill you at the end of the month if you needed any hours.
2. Retainer: If you want more consistent availability and help with making updates we can setup a custom retainer to make sure your site is getting consistently prioritized.

Yes. I regularly work alongside agencies and in-house teams, either taking a design through to build or owning the whole project under your name.

Should my website be built in Webflow or Astro?
Webflow suits a team that wants to edit pages visually and doesn't want to manage hosting. Astro suits a site that needs custom functionality, speed at scale, or content living in a headless CMS. I'm happy to help you weigh it up for your project.
